How do I apply to become a stockist?

You can apply via the wholesale application form on this site. We review all applications and will be in touch within 3–5 business days. We're selective about our retail partners and look for shops that share our aesthetic and values.


What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is €1,500 and 5 pieces.  Orders can be placed directly through the wholesale portal once your account is approved.


What are your payment terms?

We ask for 50% down at the time of order with the balance due prior to shipment.  We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. Invoices are issued in euros and include all relevant VAT documentation.


How are wholesale prices structured?

All prices shown in the wholesale portal are ex-VAT. EU-based retailers  purchasing for resale should provide their VAT number at checkout — reverse charge applies (Article 196). Those based in the NL will be charged Dutch VAT of 21%.  Non-EU buyers are invoiced as an export (Article 146, zero-rated). Please ensure your VAT details are up to date in your account profile.


How long does production take?

Everything is handmade to order in our Amsterdam studio. Typical wholesale orders will ship in approximately 12 weeks unless otherwise discussed. Larger or complex orders may require additional lead time — we'll confirm this at the time of order. We recommend planning accordingly to meet your store delivery goals.


How does shipping work for wholesale orders?

All orders ship from Amsterdam via PostNL (Track & Trace), DPD, UPS, DHL, or FedEx. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order value and destination. All pieces are fully insured. Delivery within the EU is typically 2–5 business days after dispatch. For non-EU destinations, please allow additional time and be aware that import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the receiving party.


Do you offer exclusivity or territory protection?

We consider geographic exclusivity on a case-by-case basis for established accounts. Please contact us directly to discuss if this is relevant to your situation.


Can I place a special or custom order?

We can accommodate some custom requests — adjusted lengths, ring sizing, and small production variations. Please get in touch before placing your order so we can confirm feasibility and lead time. Custom orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable once production has begun.


What is your return and exchange policy for wholesale?

All wholesale orders are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges on wholesale orders unless there is a manufacturing defect. In the case of a defect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos and we will work with you to resolve it.


How do I care for The Blue Hound pieces — and what do I tell my customers?

Our aesthetic is intentionally unrefined — the oxidation, texture, and slight imperfections are features, not flaws. For care guidance to pass on to your customers: store silver pieces in an airtight environment (a small zip-lock bag is ideal) to slow oxidation. Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid silver dip cleaners — these strip the hand-finished patina that gives each piece its character. Diamond pieces will vary slightly stone to stone; this is intentional.
