Nara Deer Pendant

Our original drawing of a deer at night under a star inspired by the sacred deer of Nara Japan.  In the traditional Shinto religion, the deer are considered messengers of the gods.  We've added Japanese Yugen; the concept of being aware of the hidden beauties of life.

Our deer is etched onto a sterling silver base with the pendant measuring 1 x 5/8" (2.5 x 2 cm) on a 21" (53 cm) aged silver chain.
